Artisan Profile

Currently, Darn Good Yarn employs over 600 artisans all over the world! These artisans do a plethora of jobs- from sewing, to spinning, and shipping! One of the most interesting jobs that we offer is the job of printing labels and packaging materials! The job of these artisans is to print all of our tags and labels for our handmade products, especially our yarn.

Bajrangi (pronounced Bah-ja-raan-gee) is one of our artisans in charge of printing. He’s got a passion for his work and loves learning everything he can about printing techniques. Nothing is too much of a challenge for him! All of his fellow artisans love him and his well-known contagious laugh.

Bajrangi, a young Indian man with short dark hair is wearing a teal blue sweater and light jeans. He's holding up a piece of a wooden yarn swift that has the Darn Good Yarn logo printed on it. To the left of the image is a whie poster that reads 'I'm an artisan. I take care of polishing, printing, and labeling of DGY products'.
Artisans with DGY work a plethora of different jobs!

In February of 2020 he married the love of his life in his hometown, an event he had been looking forward to for 4 years. After his wedding, his wife went back to her hometown to meet with her family and Bajrangi continued his printing work at our co-ops. Due to COVID lockdowns, he was unable to travel home to see his wife and they were separated until November 2021, almost 17 months.

Currently, Bajrangi and his wife are working on finally building their home and lives together. They are working hard to buy things for their new home and any help purchasing newlywed necessities would mean the world to them! They can finally enjoy married life and Bajrangi’s contagious laugh is finally coming back!
