The first bidder is the winner!
+ -We select the winner based on who shows up on OUR feed first- as our feed is as accurate as possible. This is an auction of sorts, and there is no guarantee your bid is going to be the winning one. Patience and luck is key for live and static sales!
When bidding, you must comment SOLD and the skirt's number. Correct spelling and the correct number are needed.
Dropping and swapping during a sale
+ -During a live sale, if you win a bid on a skirt, you cannot give it to another viewier of your choice. This is not fair to everyone else. If you no longer want a skirt you bid on, please let the team know you want to drop it!
If a member of the live sale community repeatedly 'drops' skirts during a sale, their future comments may be void. This is to keep the sale fair to our team and to our entire community of viewers.
Invoice payments
+ -Payments for invoices must be received within 48 hours of receipt of the Darn Good Yarn invoice. Invoices left unattended over 48 hours will be deleted and the live purchase will be forfeited.
If you have 3+ unpaid invoices, your comments will be void for the next 3 live sales.
If after your first 3 unpaid invoices, if there are another 3 unpaid invoices, your comments may be void for all future sales.
The unpaid invoice rules may seem strict but keep these sales as fair as possible for our team and our live sale community.
Live and Static Sale items are final sale
+ -The live and static sale skirts are final sale due to their discounted price and that they are hand selected by the viewer during the sale.

How do I win?
+ -Comment 'SOLD' and the number listed on the skirt shown. If you are the first to comment you will win the skirt! Please fb message us your email address so we can get your invoice out to you asap!
How do I know if I won?
+ -If you won, we will comment back SOLD and the name of the winner. The winner will be receiving an invoice from us after the show! If you don't receive an invoice, someone may have beaten you to the punch :)
What's the price?
+ -Each skirt is $57 USD, domestic shipping included. $10 for international orders :)
Every sale has a special promotion, so keep a look out for free skirts, free gift cards, and other awesome promos!
How do I fix lag?
+ -Your internet and broadband speed effect how the comments show up on your feed. Your lag is dependent on your internet speed and device. We suggest turning off and resetting your device! Maybe even trying a different device- we've heard that mobile devices are the best for watching a live sale without any lag!
How do I pay?
+ -For Live Sale Purchases, our Live Sale Team will send a digital invoice to your email address. When you open that invoice, you will see a list of the skirts you purchased during the live sale, as well as a purple button that says 'complete your purchase' at the top of the message.
If you click that button, you will be brought to our customer checkout portal! Here is where you can update your information, pay, and use any gift card codes that you have!
Note: During a live sale, it is most efficient for invoicing if you message the sale manager, or info@darngoodyarn.com with your preferred email.
Payment Options:
Our site is a Shopify secure site, so we have a few different payment option for your convenience.
For express payments, we accept Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Amazon Pay. You will see these options at checkout.
Once you share your shipping information, you will see the payment section of our checkout. We accept all major credit cards, and you will again see options for PayPal and Amazon Pay.
Please note: We cannot accept cash or personal checks for orders, invoices, or any fees.
Can I use gift cards?
+ -You bet you can!
When you are paying your invoice, there will be a box in the checkout portal where you can enter your gift card codes.
Can I use coupon/discount codes?
+ -Sadly no :( The live sale skirts are already discounted, as is shipping, and each sale has special promos (like buy 3 skirts get 1 mystery skirt for free as an example) so extra discounts or coupons cannot be used on live sale purchases!
What is a static sale?
+ -Static Sales are a collection of photos of products for sale, with the same first come, first serve rules as live sales.
