I was looking for something to replace my dying yoga pants. I found them! These pants are fun with all the happy colors and patterns, and they are so very soft and cozy. I was a little concerned that they would be too long, but they work out just fine!

Yet another stunning skirt. It's funny how these get you wearing colors you usually avoid. This one has yellow and orange flowers, and I'm not normally a fan of warm colors, but for whatever reason this just works for me and I absolutely love it.

The pictures don’t do these skirts justice. The colors are rich and pretty. The feel of the fabric is so soft. The only problem is that I didn’t actually measure my skirt length before ordering. I ordered MAXI but it is ultra maxi on me (5’1’’). Not a problem worth returning though. I plan to be creative with my wrapping and tying. I appreciate the fact that this is a way to recycle and to help small businesses around the world. I do recommend that you try these products!
I received the November yarn of the month on Monday.
I haven't decided if I will use the pattern with the yarn or another project.

I love how versatile DGY Sport Weight Twist is. It makes a gorgeous and drapey plain weave on my rigid heddle loom, nice campact winter accessories to throw in your pocket and onto your head... And great yardage.
Two skeins will yield 1 woven scarf or a hat and fingerles mitts set in no time!
Green sets are made in Tropical Jungle & Mulberry Dreamscape while the peachy-pink set was made using Pomegranate Fizz paired with the 2ply sport weight Holland Tulips. Perfect gifts!

Really loving the drape of this yarn. I was able to play with it to design the knit Japanese Knot Bag for the June Yarn of the Month Club and fell in love... Then made a Zig Zag Hat and Chevron Alder Fingerless Mitts by pairing 1 skein of it in Holland Tulips with 1 skein of a 2023 Yarn of the month, Pomegranate Sport Twist and adore the results!

I have to admit that lace weight seems to be my favorite (with sport a close second). After I made myself a Mahonia Cardigan and a few accessories (Sol Sunglasses case & Scrunchie from YOTM patterns) I found the Horizon Hat pattern and am even more in love with it!
SO much yardage in each skein, rich colors, and so soft and cozy to wear!

I actually hand picked this kids mini skirt at the Portsmouth store and just ordered another surprise one for my niece... Her parents met in India and she spent her first in utero months there before being born back in the US.
I grabbed a recent Yarn of the Month March 2024 Waikato Hills 2-Ply Worsted silk yarn to make her a peekab scarf/hair band and scraps of cotton yarn remnants to crochet her a butterfly pin to match the reversible skirt.
She's always complementing my skirts and remembers the brand from when they bought me my first skein of DGY yarn, a sari ribbon yarn, along with other DGY-made gifts I've made her and crafting kits I've gifted her over the years!

I really love being a member of Yarn of the Month. Each month there's a brand new colorway, new pair of patterns and code to download another, plus a discount on website purchases and shipping, and a surprise goodie. If I'm not feeling the yarn after the spoilers or can't take in new yarn that month I can skip it at any point (or add MORE/speed up my shipment, etc).
I'm allergic to those other popular yarns from animals (wool, cashmere, etc) as well as several plant fibers, so finding attainable silk has been a game changer!
