The Nanda Hooded Poncho is Awesome!

I actually purchased two of these ponchos—intending to give one as a gift. Now that they have arrived, I’m feeling a bit greedy. They are gorgeous in person! I think it was Miss Nicole who was wearing a beautiful one that she had had for five years in the snow. I saw it, and fell in love with the pattern. Guess what?? One of mine is in a similar pattern (Wish granted! Thank you awesome team at Darn Good Yarn!). The other one (the gift I’m feeling a bit covetous of) is in a gorgeous black floral pattern. Boho elegance to the max!!

The poncho has a bit of mystery to it. When I wear it in the house I am at the perfect temperature (I am one of those people who are always cold). Yet, when I wear it outside on a chilly morning, I am still at the perfect temperature for me. It doesn’t quite make sense to me, but I love that quality about it. I live in So Cal so I haven’t tested it in snow, but it keeps me comfy cozy
no matter the temperature here!

I am so grateful for the sale that made it possible for me to buy two. Now…fingers crossed that I do give the beautiful black floral patterned one away as a gift!

I don't know if I'm just imagining it

I don't know if I'm just umagining it, but it seems like maybe Nicole has gotten to know me and my tastes?? whenever I open a package from DGY now, I feel immediately seen and understood. Really nice color choices, thank you! Now I will say that the POCKET on this poncho is pretty **** placed as low as it is. Maybe I will get used to it with wear. Also, I am a fabric fanatic and would really really really appreciate knowing the percentages. All I can find is that the poncho is a "wool and acrylic blend." Thats fine, but how much of each please?

Beautiful, soft , warm and cozy hooded poncho!

Beautiful colors, so soft and warm, so comfy!This is my first time buying these ponchos. I had been waiting for them to cone back in stock. I love how light weight is is, yet is is very warm as a layer. I bought two different sizes in different color schemes because I wasn't sure about the size. Definitely keeping both! These are keepers! Very pleased with these ponchos and highly recommend them!

One of my most used Darn Good Yarn styles

I have two Nanda ponchos.

I keep one in my home office, which is in the basement and always chilly. I keep the other on the main floor and I use it primarily to snuggle into when watching movies.

I have worn both out and they are perfect for those days when I need an extra layer but don't want to put on a heavy jacket.

Nanda is a useful and utilitarian style. I absolutely love these ponchos and I look forward to enjoying them for many years to come.
