Hi Valerea! We're thrilled to hear you love the soft, silky texture of our Banana Fiber Yarn 🌿✨. Thanks so much for your wonderful review! -DGY Team
Love it
I had to get some of the banana fiber yarn just to try it out. It’s very similar in weight and texture to recycled sari silk (from threads) but softer and slippery. It feels like it’ll stand up to heavy use so I’m thinking of using it with the sari ribbon yarn to knit or weave some tough and colorful containers and pillows.
I’m sorry fabulous fiber that’s beautiful, bright and soft.
Lovely! Surprisingly soft. Can't wait to use it as a decorative trim on my next project
A woman- and veteran-owned small business in Maine, USA. Since 2008 we've worked with the same artisan co-ops in India and Nepal, who hand-piece reclaimed sari silk into every skirt you see here — at fair wages, year after year.
Every order keeps those hands working and keeps more silk out of the landfill. Thank you for being part of it. 💜 — Nicole, founder
