Summer 2022 festival season is here and we’ve got all the styling tips you need!
Festival wear has become more than just what you wear to a concert. It is now a statement in itself to take the trendiest instagram pics and to be the best dressed at the show (just in case Harry Styles spots you from the crowd…you never know!)
Here are our top picks for outfits to wear to a concert/ music festival:
We love a layering piece, especially a light fabric with this summertime heat. The elephant print and the tassel detailing scream boho festival wear. Pair with a cute dress and a floppy hat. Or try denim shorts and a bandeau for a more chic look.
Just imagine this dress as you twirl around to your favorite song. It just has to be! Crochet tops are all in this summer and this halter dips low in the back for a flirty moment. The playful skirt of the dress features a patchwork design made of recycled sari silk. It’s nothing short of groovy!
If we have to pick one piece that screams music festival, it's the Heather Bolero Vest. From Coachella to Bonnaroo the statement vest has been a staple festival accessory for a long time. This versatile item is your ticket to be the “cool friend”. Choose from red or lavender. Layer over a maxi dress or style with flared pants + a cool tank top. But for either outfit don’t forget your colorful sunnies!
Are you looking for one item to wear in a multitude of ways? Look no further than the Medley Scarf. This scarf can be worn traditionally around your neck, tied as a top, as a hair accessory, beach sarong, a shawl and so much more! This transformative piece is truly unique that no one else at the show will have.
Learn all the ways to wear it here:
Hi everyone, it's kallie from darn good yarn and today i am showing you five ways to wear our reclaimed medley sari scarves. Okay, so first up you guessed it we are wearing the sari scarf as a scarf. There's many ways to wear a scarf, you can put it over your shoulders, wrap it over your neck, double wrap it over your neck- ooh pretty!
Moving on to style number two: hair accessories. Okay so to start off i'm just folding the scarf in half the long way to make it a little thinner and making myself a blindfold oh just kidding! I'm just actually making two knots behind my head, pushing it up and boom you have yourself a cute little patchwork bandana. Oh how cute!
Next I am wrapping the scarf underneath my hair, putting my hair over it, and then pulling up the fabric and tying a knot at the top and then look how satisfying that is! Pulling it tight so it lays in my ponytail. You might want to double knot it so it doesn't slip out or you can always loop it around an elastic that works too.
Alright style number three, not that style number three! We are going with a shawl- oh look how pretty that looks- oh my gosh I need to get over myself. All right, so you can of course just drape it over your shoulders like that, but I'm gonna show you a trick. If you double knot the two ends of the scarf around your wrist like this - look, you can now dance the night away and not worry about your shawl falling off your shoulders!
So style number four, we have a cute little sarong wrap to wear to the beach and look at that I changed up the color of the scarf just to show you all the diversity of colors and patterns that we have!
And for the last look I am just taking the scarf, I fold it in half again like for the hair accessories, and I have wrapped it around my top area. And I am making a double knot in the back to make a cute little bandeau top. I'm just gonna shortly show you one more. What I did was I wrapped the scarf around my back, did a little twist in the front, and tied it around the back of my neck and it makes a cute little top!
Thank you all for watching I'll be here all week
Add the “wow” factor to your concert look. The patterns from the sari silk material on these Amara Short Dusters are the pop of color your outfit needs to really stand out from the crowd (no pun intended!). Add this piece with a mini skirt and cowboy boots or tie it over a tank top for a cropped look.
If comfort + cuteness is your key to the perfect festival outfit, our sari wrap skirts are your ticket to a good time. The airy material and adjustable sizing make it an easy piece to throw on but still look in trendy. These skirts come in mini, tea and maxi lengths, so a flawless look for everyone.
