We've always loved purple. A symbol of creativity and hope, it is known to uplift spirits and help align oneself with the universe; which is exactly what we hope to do through our work at Darn Good Yarn.
Some see it as a "girly" color - one that wouldn't necessarily be known to be powerful, as it often gets overshadowed by louder colors.
Purple though, combines the composure of blue and the fiery spirit of red. And we can't think of a better balance of traits to make up a powerful woman than sophistication and tenacity.
We are not alone; Now, purple is officially the color of the International Women's Day, becoming a symbol of dignity and justice for women internationally.
