Meet Pradeep

Written by Kate Curry

Pradeep (pronounced Praa-deep) is one of the over 600 artisans that make up our Darn Good Yarn community. Pradeep is a woodworker, who drills, cuts, carves, and sands all of our wooden notions, tools, and products!>

Pradeep, a young Indian man wearing a light purple button up shirt is sitting at a table with his wood working tools. To the right of him is a sign that reads 'I'm a woodworker. I make sure that DGY product dimensions are accurate & precise"

Pradeep is extremely passionate about his woodworking, which started as a hobby that blossomed into a career! He’s a fast learner and always striving to learn new woodworking techniques that will wow the DGY community!>

Thankfully it’s summer here in New York, but winter is never too far away! Winters in India begin from mid-November and end in January and they can be bitterly cold! Pradeep is planning to buy winter clothes for himself and his family for the upcoming season!

How You Can Help!

With every purchase from Darn Good Yarn, you are helping young artisans thrive and live better!.If you purchase any of the products from our Do Darn Good Collection, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Darn Good Fund.
