This yarn is really cool.

This yarn is really cool. I'm going to have to learn to crochet just for this scrubby pattern. But I'm using some of the yarn for added texture on a dragon amigurumi I'm making. (Adding a picture of the wing. The insides of the wing I'm making with Witching Hour lace weight DGY yarn.) The hemp yarn's stiffness is great for the wing bones and spines. This yarn is really interesting to knit with. It's stiff and fibrous. It's harder to pull the loops through than cotton or silk yarn and little strands of it sometimes fray. But it's worth it for the texutre. The thickness isn't consistent: some areas are thin and tight and easier to knit, others are bulky and the strands are looser. But that's not a problem for making a scrubby, and I don't mind it for my dragon either. The kit came in a foldable box/tote that's pretty and useful.
