Baby Cable Ribbing

  • Size: 6"x6"
  • Gauge: Stockinette - 4” = 20 Stitches | 12 Rows
  • Yarn: Medium Weight Yarn - DGY Worsted Weight Recycled Silk
  • Knitting Needle Size: US 9 (or size to achieve gauge)

Stitches Worked Over a Multiple of 4 + 2

Abbreviations:

  • CO - Cast On
  • K2tog – Knit 2 together

Pattern:

  • CO 30 stitches.
  • Rows 1 and 3: Knit 2, *purl 2, knit 2, repeat from * to end
  • Row 2: Purl 2, *knit 2, purl 2, repeat from * to end
  • Row 4: Purl 2, *k2tog, then knit the first stitch again, purl 2, repeat from * to end
  • Repeat Rows 1 - 4 until piece measures 6” from cast on edge.
  • Fasten off, weave in ends, & block to 6x6” square.
