This simple V stitch scarf is super easy to work with and will give you a classic crochet look. Not only is this crochet stitch great for scarves but it works great for blankets, shawls and much more.

Yarn: 2 Skeins of Darn Good Yarn Recycled Silk Yarn “Spice Market” (approximately 150 yards)
Hook Size: J (6mm)
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Abbreviations

ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sk = skip
sp = space
st(s) = stitch(es)


Pattern Instructions

Row 1: Ch 26, dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, dc in same st, *sk next 2 sts, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next st, repeat from * 6 times, dc in last st, turn.

Rows 2 – 65: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), sk next st, *(dc, ch 1, dc) in ch-1 sp, sk next 2 sts, repeat from * 6 times, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch-1 sp, sk next st, dc in last st, turn.

Finishing: Fasten off after ending row 65 and weave in any tails.
