We're heading into the holiday season, and we all know what that means-- holiday crafts! Today we're sharing a fun, unique and holiday themed pattern, This O'Whimsical Christmas Tree Crochet Pattern from Hannah Hutchinson! (@thecraftyfoxcrochet on Instagram) This tree is certain to add some whimsical joy to your holiday season! Let's get started! 

Materials

  • 1 skein Darn Good Twist Sport Weight Silk Yarn in Crocodile Snap
  • US F/5 (4 mm)
  • Crochet Hook (not included)
  • Stuffing/Fiberfill (not included)
  • Stitch Marker(not included)
  • Tapestry Needle and Scissors (not included)
  • Notions such as buttons or ribbons for Ornaments (optional, not included)

Pattern Notes

  • Finishined Project Dimensions: Approx 6.5 inches tall.
  • This pattern is worked with two strands to achieve the stated dimensions.
  • This pattern is worked in a round. Do not join rounds.
  • Place a stitch marker at the beginning of each round to hold your place.
  • The tree is made as one piece and is worked from the bottom to top.
  • The tree begins with the magic loop method. This technique is also called the magic ring, or drawstring ring and many helpful videos can be found on youtube. If you do not want to use a magic circle, you can CH 2 and work starting stitches into the first CH
