Looking for yarn and craft shops in the Houston area? The yarn will be *out of this world* (Ah, NASA jokes.) Whenever I travel somewhere I make sure to look up yarn shops in the area. You get to explore new yarn brands, you get to be in *yarn heaven* AND you get to support small businesses!
Each of the following shops offer something unique and they are all worth a trip into the city to check them out! Here is your go-to guide:
Park Avenue Yarns
Not only does this shop have some really beautiful yarns, but it also has fabric, quilting supplies and other fiber crafts.
Maribee Needle Arts
This is the perfect one-stop-shop for yarn, needlepoint, and all fiber crafts. They offer all different types of fiber from common wool to angora! Nimble Fingers Needle Arts and Knitting

Located in the Memorial Villages area of Houston, this shop has a lot of different yarn and needlepoint offerings.
Nancy’s Knits
Full of the latest and most unique yarns including banana, soy, corn, pearls, and even milk yarn!
Little Craft Place
Not so much a yarn shop, but this shop is full of cute craft accessories, and very Instagram worthy!
Texas Art Supply
This isn’t much of a yarn shop either, but if you are into other arts and crafts, this can be a good stop! They carry some textile dyeing supplies, so if you are ever interested in dyeing your own yarn, you can stock up here.
