There is just something about fall that brings us so much excitement. It could be cool crisp air or that everything becomes pumpkin flavored or that life just seems to get a little bit more cozier. But top on our list has got to be trading in our summer wardrobe into our long awaited fall wardrobe. Fall outfits just hit differently and the new season brings us a fun opportunity to try out the latest trends. So here are a couple styles we can’t wait to try in Fall 2022.
Bright Colors for Fall
When we think of Fall, we think of dark reds, oranges, browns and neutrals. Our wardrobe tends to get darker in color as the days get cooler. But this Fall is a little different, bright colors are in! It’s perfect for DGY because you know we love color. So bring out those bright oranges, hot pinks and blues. You also know we love sustainability so recycle your summer clothes by fall-ifying them 🍁🍂. Pair your bright Sari Wrap Skirts with neutral sweaters or jackets. Add a cute boot and voilà!
Boho Chic
If the season of Fall had a specific style, I would say she is Boho Chic. The boots, the wide-brim hats all scream bohemian. Our inner hippy emerges when the leaves start to change color. The most boho outfit we have at DGY is either the Zaria Wrap Dress or the Ananya Long Kaftan. Both these looks would pair well with boots or a big sweater.
Layering Queen
Fall wardrobe is elite for one reason…. It’s cozy! Everything fits oversized, we start to wear chunky sweaters and we layer up like the world depends on it. Layering is an essential to stay warm but you also look super cute. For women's fall styles this year add big cardigans or a leather jacket over a dress.
Big Tote Bags
For a couple seasons now the “mini” bag has reigned supreme but look out because the big tote bag is back ( and thank goodness, we’ve got a lot of stuff to carry!!) Our Sari Silk purse is perfect because its patchwork style is also very “in” right now. These totes are great to hold a laptop for your long commute or as a chic diaper bag for all those trendy moms. The strap is super sturdy and can be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody.
Boot Season
You can not mention fall without the most iconic fall clothing item….the boot! We all secretly love the moment we can take off our flip-flops and slip back into our favorite boots. This season the riding boot is back in. That means we will see a lot of brown and black tall leather boots. Pair these boots with any length skirt or Zaria.
It’s always bittersweet to see Summer go but bring on the Fall Vibes, we’re ready!
