ABBREVIATIONS:
CH(S): Chain(s)
HDC: Half Double Crochet
YO: Yarn Over
PS: Puff Stitch: YO, pull up a loop, repeat 6x, (15 loops on your hook). YO pull though 15 loops, (1 loop on your hook). YO pull through all loops.
PATTERN:
Row 1: CH 3 (does not count as a st). HDC in the third CH from the hook. <1 st>
Row 2: CH 2 then turn. (does not count as a st here or anywhere else in the pattern) 2 HDC in first stitch. <2 sts>
Row 3: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in first st and 1 HDC in the next st. <2 sts>
Row 4: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in first st, then 2 HDC in the next/last st (increase) <3 sts>
Row 5: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in every st across. <3 sts>
Row 6: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in next two sts, then 2 HDC in the next/last st (increase) <4 sts>
Row 7: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in every st across. <4 sts>
Row 8: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in next two sts, then PS in 3rd st, 2 HDC in the next/last st (increase) <5 sts>

Row 13: CH 2 then turn. 1 HDC in every st across. <7 sts>
Rows 14-183: Repeat Rows 12-13 making sure to add one extra st at the end of every Row 12 repeat and not on Row 13 repeats.
PATTERN EXAMPLE:
Row 14 & 15 – 8 total stitches.
Row 16 & 17 – 9 total stitches.
Row 18 & 19 – 10 total stitches.
Row 20 & 21 – 11 total stitches.
Row 20 & 21 – 12 total stitches.
Row 22 & 23 – 13 total stitches.
One extra stitch per row repeat.
