Absolutely steller skirt. Cotton fabric is super light and breezy. There is lots of fabric to the skirt so it has plenty of swoosh when you walk. The plus size is a bit too long for me (5'4 w shortish legs)- but the comfy waistband is easy to fold down. There is a nice big pocket on one side.
The loops to hitch up the skirt seem to be stitched firmly. Great buy.

I recently ordered and received a blue hued cotton patchwork skirt. It’s wonderful! From the moment I tried it on, it was a winner — soft, flowy, buttons for “pick ups” on each hip, elastic waisted, and water colored shades of blue. Yum! I’ve worn it twice in the first week: one side up with Birks and a white double gauze blouse knotted at my waist, and both sides up with sandals and a plain grey tee. I repeat: it’s wonderful!

Journey Recycled Silk Yarn is a soft sport weight silk yarn that comes in a variety of colors and a reasonable price. I recently found instructions for a thermal single crochet stitch and thought it would make a nice pair of fingerless mitts for my arthritic thumbs. The Journey Indian Peacock silk yarn was easy to work with and the stitch made a thick fabric. I liked it so much that I made a pair in Journey Fireworks, Journey Poppy, and even in Darn Good Yarn’s Twist Sport Weight Silk Yarn in Dragon Tail!

These pants are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! They are also lightweight, beautifully flowy, sooooo comfy, and on TOP of all of this, THERE ARE POCKETS! This is a win-win situation from all angles. These are my third pair, (not counting gifting) and every time I wear them I get "ooohs" and "ahhhhs" and compliments galore. How can you NOT feel FABULOUS when you look awesome AND are helping to raise women and families up from poverty? When sumptuous fabrics are being saved from landfills? AND you are supporting a woman-owned company? I cannot help but share with everyone I know!!

I am never disappointed with a Darn Good Yarn order! I have gifted many pieces over the last few years to friends and they love the products! I love all the soft silk pieces I receive! We will be hanging our new house with the sari curtains, including a shower curtain in one of the bathrooms! Love LOVE DGY products!
