How to Crochet a Slip Stitch

When working in patterns you will see slip stitch abbreviated as sl st. This stitch is used to join stitches that are worked in rounds (like a granny square). Now let's move on the to fun part and learn how to slip stitch in this super easy to follow tutorial from our friend Nikki Loud!

Instructions

Step 1

Work into next stitch

Step 1

Step 2

Yarn over and pull yarn through the stitch 

Step 2

Step 3

Pull up stitch and turn hook so it is facing downwards

Step 3

Step 4

Pull through stitch and your slip stitch has been made!
