Yarn: 1 Skein of Darn Good Yarn’s Worsted Weight Roving Silk Yarn (pictured is watercolors)  
Hook: 4.5 mm 
Other: Needle for weaving in ends             
Scissors               
Stitch Markers

Abbreviations:

Ch: Chain
Dc: Double Crochet 
Sc: Single Crochet 
Sp: Space

Notes:

Ch 3 counts as a Dc throughout the pattern
Ch 4 counts as Dc and Ch1 

Instructions:

COVER Start with a magic circle. Chain 3 and Dc 9 into the center of the circle. Pull tight and join the last Dc to the top of the chain 3 with a slip stitch.

1.Ch 4. (Dc in the next stitch, Ch 1)* 8 more times. Join with a slip stitch. (20 – 10Dc and 10Ch)

2. Slip stitch over into the ChSp. Ch 3, Dc in the same ChSp, Ch 1. (Dc 2 in the next ChSp, Ch 1)* 8 more times. Join with a slip stitch. (30 – 20Dc and 10Ch)

3.Ch 3, Dc in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch. (30)

4.Ch 3, Dc in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch. (30)

5.Ch 3, Dc in the next 3 stitches, Ch 1, Skip 1 stitch. (Dc in each of the next 4 stitches, Ch 1, Skip 1 stitch)* 4 more times. Join with a slip stitch. (30 – 24 Dc and 6 Ch)

6.Ch 1 and Sc in the join space. Ch 1. (Sc in the next stitch, Ch 1)* around. Join with a slip stitch. (60 – 30 Sc and 30 Ch)

Tie off and weave in your ends.

TIE Using your silk worsted weight yarn and your 4.5mm crochet hook. Chain 80. Tie off.

ASSEMBLY Using your needle or hook, weave your chain in and out of the chain spaces all the way around the last round on the bun cover. Cut your ends on the chain short
