There are a few things we love more than curling up in a blanket with a good book. This easy and affordable bookmark tutorial can be completed in under 30 minutes, with only 2 materials!
Create a loop with the yarn, so it comfortably wraps around 4 fingers
Continue to (loosely!) wrap the yarn around your fingers, until you have created between 90 and 100 loops
After you have finished the 90-100 loops, carefully slide them (all in one grouping) off your fingers, and cut the yarn at the end
You will now have wrapped yarn, cut on both ends!
Tie a knot around the center of the group of yarn
Tie a 14 inch piece of yarn around the center of the yarn (the purple you’ll see here is some hemp we added for extra stability - this is completely optional!)
While holding the yarn ball on its side, carefully slide the scissors around where the yarn curves
Begin to cut!
Follow steps 8 & 9 on the other side, to create a puffy ball!
Trim away at longer strands to give your pom pom a fuller look
All done! Now it’s time to read :)
Next week we’ll be making some wrap jewelry with our At the Bahamas Sari Silk!
