Our Efforts
One of our standout achievements is our successful mitigation of 111.621 metric tons of CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) emissions from January 2022 to December 2022. This milestone was made possible through our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our participation in the UPS Carbon Neutral and Carbon Offset Program.
Darn Good Yarn has taken proactive steps to offset our carbon emissions and contribute to a more environmentally friendly future. By participating in the UPS Carbon Neutral and Carbon Offset Program, we have been able to accurately calculate our carbon footprint and invest in projects that offset emissions. These initiatives include supporting reforestation efforts, renewable energy projects, and carbon capture programs.
The 111.621 metric tons of CO2e mitigation achieved in 2022 represent a significant contribution to the fight against climate change. DGY's efforts align with the global goals outlined in the Paris Agreement and demonstrate our company's dedication to making a positive impact on the environment.
