Yarn: 2 skeins Darn good yarns chunky wool
Needles: Size US 17 (6mm)
Notions: Yarn needle to sew in ends, a bit of scrap yarn for provisional cast on

Abbreviations:
CO= cast on
k= knit stitch/es
p= purl stitch/es
st= stitch/es
sl= slip
wyif= with yarn in front of work (the side facing you)
tbl= through back loop

instructions:
CO 16 st with provisional cast on method of your choice
R**CORRECTED** R1,3,5,6: k1tbl, k14, sl1wyif
R2,4: k1tbl, p14, sl1wyif
Rep these 6 rows for pattern until you have worked 21 ridges.
Open up the provisional cast on and put live stitches on a needle. Make sure not to twist the work, sew both ends together with the kitchener stitch.

Weave in ends and get cozy!

    I am not sure what provisional cast on is but I only count 12 stitches to this pattern….k1tbl, k10, sl1wyif. What am I not seeing?
