Making The Tassels

A closeup of the runner, showing a black base, a white crescent moon, a pink crochet hook, and a tassel made of purple and yellow.

Step 1:Using the sparkle morning glory yarn, wrap your cardboard 13 times. Cut a strand about 1 foot long and loop it through the strands and knot.
Step 2:Snip the yarn at the bottom of the square.
Step 3: Cut a strand of yarn, about 10” long and wrap the top of your tassel
Step 4: Trim your tassels to the desired length and shape
Step 5:Using your darning needle, thread the long strands at the top of the tassel and weave into your altar runner, placing a tassel every 4 sts.

You will need to make 16 tassels, 8 for each side.

In an office, on a wooden desk, rests the phases of the moon witch's altar runner, made of black, white, and sparkle multicolor yarn. In the center of the runner you can see all the phases of the moon.
