I was gifted one of these kits and it's actually the very first amigurumi kit I've ever completed. He's just perfect as a gift for someone who I always associated with peacock feathers/imagery!
I added turquoise irises from some of the spare yarn and then had a mini snafu that worked out in the end!
I would recommend waiting to do the pileum until after using the dark blue for the other pieces as I saw that at least 1-2 others posted about running out of the dark blue early… I may have left tails for sewing that were too long? I was able to supplement with a dark blue from my DGY Unicorns & Rainbows Kit and had plenty of the other colors, so with just a little extra dark blue I was able to add a few more tail eyes... switching the pileum ends to another color would have allowed this as well with no extra yarn :)
Love it
