WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THESE SKIRTS? Each skirt is handmade by our co-ops in India out of recycled sari's and turned into the beautiful finished skirt you see. With your help, these artisans are able to sustain year-round employment. With global stewardship in mind, we use manufacturer's remnants and sari seconds that would normally go into landfills to make these skirts. Sometimes they’re a little more “unique” than we expect so rather than send them back, leaving a carbon footprint, we’ve decided to sell them to you at a discounted price. These skirts are completely wearable, functional, and beautiful!
Wash skirts in cold water in a mesh bag and put in the dryer on a low/medium heat. Due to the handmade nature of our product, the skirt you receive may have natural wear and tear. Please keep in mind that this product is made of the traditional Indian sari. Typically, these skirts are made with an assortment of silk, viscose & polyester blends.
