Alba, International Relations & Digital Marketing Specialist

Introduction

Alba joined the Darn Good Yarn Team as our International Relations and Digital Marketing Specialist in Fall 2017, helping us broaden our international influence, and developing digital marketing campaigns. When Alba isn’t spending a Friday evening with her 2 kids, she is out with friends and family trying out new restaurants. What makes Alba the happiest is being able to spend time with her husband and kids – although they prefer the warmer weather, they’ve been enjoying sledding and tubing in the snow! If they aren’t out doing activities, they are skyping with Grandma and Grandpa over in Spain. Naturally, a delicious lunch follows up all these activities. This year, Alba hopes to learn all about yoga, mindfulness, and all around what feeds her soul!

Alba earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and PR from the University Autonoma, Barcelona in 2003, and went on to fulfill her post graduate education in Strategic Communication from University Ramon LLull, Barcelona in 2007, and Product Management from EADA Business School in 2009, Barcelona. While she wasn’t involved in any clubs or sports teams, she was an avid hiker and loved to swim!

I love our Hand beaded silk yarn for so many different reasons. Not only do I love it because of the gorgeous colors and exquisite beads, but also because I know that it is handmade and hand dyed by our amazing artisans in India!
