We are so incredibly excited to be able to offer you this soft, delicious, hand-dyed yarn from Malabrigo!
If you're unfamiliar with Malabrigo, they are a family owned yarn company based out of Uruguay. Each and every skein, from the material it is made from to the diverse colorways, are inspired by nature, places, art, and daily life.
Malabrigo has quickly grown from 2 brother-in-laws dying wool in their kitchen in 2005, to 2 factories; one in Uruguay, and one in Peru. With a focus on sustainability, each factory uses a flat plate thermal heating system, and their 100% Merino Wool is produced by Uruguayan farms that allow their sheep to wander through the lush rolling hills.
Darn Good Yarn is introducing 5 of Malabrigo's most luxurious fibers to our collection: The Rastita, Sock, Rios, Worsted and Nube yarn. With a diverse range of weights, colors, and plies, there is sure to be a variation that is right for you!
