We here at Darn Good Yarn know that shopping online can be difficult. When shopping for yarn, you want to be able to feel the texture and softness, to compare the color to your favorite jacket, or to find the best natural light to truly evaluate that perfect shade of purple. All that is very tricky to do with an online yarn store. However, you do get the benefit of shopping in your PJ's at 11 at night if you want to. So it's not all bad.
We want to make the online-shopping experience even better - as perfect and as painless as possible. That's why we have this awesome return policy. If you aren't happy, then we aren't happy either. Did the color not match your decor? Did you start knitting a project only to find that the yarn isn't working for you? No problem. If you're a retail customers and you aren't in love with your Darn Good Yarn purchase, just send it back within 30 days of placing the order and we will refund the purchase price, minus the shipping. If you live outside the US, you've got 40 days from placing the order to return your items. It doesn't matter if you have to take the yarn off the needles - just pop your items back in the box and send it back to us. For wholesale customers, you've got 7 business days to return for store credit. Just drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know what you are returning and the reason it wasn't working for you. Then, hopefully, you can come right back to our site and find the perfect product instead!
Please note that all returns or exchanges have to be approved by a Darn Good Yarn staff member, and a return form with authorization number needs to be included in any and all return and exchange packages or there is a 25% restocking fee.
