Use up scrap pieces of yarn

November 21, 2010

Today is a lazy day so I decided to clean up. I found a Styrofoam wreath in my craft supplies. I also had scraps of the yarn I carry on this site (surprise!). Since it’s close to Christmas, I thought it would be lovely to make a little wreath.

I like decorating my house in a folk-like vintage way for the holidays. I want it to look like Etsy exploded in my living room. So, this wreath will fit right in!

I only used some hot glue to attach on the bow. I just tied the different yarns on and did minimal trimming because I like it a little more rustic. If you’re wondering, the scrap yarn I utilized was The Blender Recycled Silk Yarn and some pieces of the solid colored recycled sari ribbon yarn. Enjoy recyclistias!
