Recycled Silk Ribbon Kimono Jacket Darn Good Yarn 003

If you are a new knitter and you are ready to go to the next step after scarves, this is a wonderful project for you. I personally designed it and walk you through every little step with un-daunting techniques. If you can cast on, bind off, knit and purl you can make this!

Inspiration: Colors change the life energy of my soul. I love putting on bright colors. They make me feel luxurious, inventive and relaxed. So, in the spirit of being cozy, wearing color and re-capturing the wonderful essence of the kimono I present to you a kimono-inspired jacket made from the unique recycled silk sari ribbon.

Recycled Silk Ribbon Kimono Jacket Darn Good Yarn 018I named this pattern “Ch’i” because I believe in life energies and this kimono really shifts how I feel about my surroundings whenever I wear it!

You can either purchase the kit or just the pattern.

If you would like to get the kit you can click on either of these links (there are two different sizes)

What is the garment bust measurement. Not all 2X’s are created equal. Thanks

Hi Nicole…I’m finished w/the first sleeve of my kimono, moving down the front. Easy peasy!…..However, to finish the way I envision it, I’ll need to order 1 each of the following: magenta, turquoise, and purple (I don’t have the real color names). I have my 10FORBROOKE coupon…Would you please let me know how much I owe you and we’ll settle up. Thanks again for all of your help and good works! Pam
