Free Rope Cording Pillow Pattern Using Recycled Sari Rope Yarn – Darn Good Yarn
February 24, 2013
I’ve been there. I want to make something, but I don’t know how to do that craft. Are you not a knitter? Are you not a crocheter? Do you love Darn Good Yarn (of course you do!), but your crafting tool is a needle and thread? This is the perfect pattern for you. Created by a Darn Good Yarn fan, Lauren combined her love of our sari ribbon rope yarn and sewing to make a fabulous pillow. This will look fantastic on ANY couch!
And the best part is, you don’t even have to be a seamstress to make this gorgeous pillow. You could hand stitch the entire pillow, or if you have a sewing machine, all you really need to know how to do is stitch a straight line. See, I told you it was easy! Now, the pillow:
The yarn Lauren used is our Recycled Sari Rope yarn. Lauren does an excellent job in her tutorial for the Rope Cording Pillow Pattern. She walks you through the entire process, and she has TONS of great pictures to help you out. If you get stuck on something, I can always be reached via email: email@example.com
If you make a pillow, be sure to send some pictures to Darn Good Yarn’s lovely assistant, Jen (firstname.lastname@example.org), and she’ll post up the pictures of facebook for us all to see.
