ABOUT TO BLOOM: A VERSATILE WRAP
February 5, 2012
Some may know, I live in Maine. It gets a little chilly. So when I needed a wrap, I was inspired to make spring come a little sooner for me— and it had to be made of 100% reclaimed materials too! That’s when I designed this easy wrap. But it’s really about the embellishments and the different ways you can wear it. Simple strands of multicolored reclaimed silk ribbon sprinkled around like wildflower seeds that are just “about to bloom”.
You will need:
3 skeins of Darn Good Yarn’s Recycled Silk Sari Ribbon—be sure to get the skeins with a 180 ft per skein-find them here: http://tiny.cc/lax7x . (If you ever have questions just email me firstname.lastname@example.org)
I used three of my favorite colors.
1 skein of At the Bahamas
Size US 19 needles
BE GREEN, BE GLOBAL, BE GREAT!
