You probably know this already but we make felted balls by putting some unspun wool with a touch of soapy warm water into the bottom of a round pill pot and shake it around for a while. Different sized pots produce different sizes of balls. Then just put them in the sun to dry. You can thread them together to make a lovely necklace or bracelet...
