Check out the one skein scarf that’s super easy and takes no time at all to make. Best of all it’s made from recycled silk sari remnants and is created by women. No sweatshops, no child labor and only at www.darngoodyarn.com
Please be sure to watch the video above because I talk about how you can get a great deal on the ribbon and the needles!
To make it:
Get one skein of any one of these ribbons: http://store.darngoodyarn.com/products?search=180+ft&search-submit=
Then get your size 50knitting needles. Cast on 7 and work the whole skein up in garter stitch. Yeah it’s simple. but like what I always say, you don’t need to over-complicate a complex yarn with a crazy pattern. Let the yarn speak for itself!
This will make a nice wispy scarf!

Get two skeins of any one of these ribbons: http://store.darngoodyarn.com/products?search=130&search-submit=
Then get your size 50 knitting needles. Cast on 5 and work the whole skein up in garter stitch. Yeah it’s simple. but like what I always say, you don’t need to over-complicate a complex yarn with a crazy pattern. Let the yarn speak for itself!
This will make a chunky thick scarf good!
-OR-
Get two or three skeins (depending if you want a longer scarf) of any one of these ribbons: http://store.darngoodyarn.com/products?search=117&search-submit=
Then get your size 50 knitting needles. Cast on 5 and work the whole skein up in garter stitch. Yeah it’s simple. but like what I always say, you don’t need to over-complicate a complex yarn with a crazy pattern. Let the yarn speak for itself!
This will make a soft slightly chunky scarf good for indoor/outdoor use.

Hi
I received my Sari Ribbon Recycled Yarn yesterday and I am sooo excited to try the 45 min Scarf that is shown here on the site! (BEAUTIFUL YARN)
I guess I have a question: I am some what new to knitting and teaching myself, I tend to pull my yarn a bit tight when making scarves so on this particular pattern of knit 5 all the way through the skein do I need to pull tight or is it better to just knit without any tension ? sorry if this is a lame question!
thanks so much for your web site and offering all these beautiful yarns to HELP others…I will buy my yarn here from now on!!
Veronica

Beautiful yarn! Thanks Nicole!

Hey Simone! I’m not sure if any woolshops in South Africa will be ordering from Nicole soon, though she does ship internationally. If there’s anything on her site that you want in your hands, send Nicole a message (nicole@darngoodyarn.com) and she’ll talk about some options! Take care.
Nicole..Did you get my order for your No.50 needles? If you have not sent my order I would like that red sari silk (2) to make that scarf..garder stitch…”email me ok…Love Pan
