Dinah Rose

You know what I love about my job? That I get to meet so many incredible indy artists. Dinah is a fellow Darn Good Yarner. She showed me some of her works a while back (and while I was moving..hence the delay..sorry!). I wanted to share her works and her website with all of you. Get some inspiration and go ahead and support another Darn Good Yarner.

Here is a great look into the “who” of Dinah:
I have been a fiber artist all my life. I began weaving in 1995 after seeing a weaver at a festival. Enthralled by the artist’s ability to use color to express a mood in fabric, I knew with my background in fiber as a quilter that this was something I had to do. Weaving became the natural progression in my journey of exploring fabric and color. I have been taking classes and workshops from nationally known weavers ever since, always learning a new way of using color or structure in my work. Color combinations I see in nature, other artists’ work, and silk garments I find in thrift stores are inspirations for me.
