She carries a wonderful collection of hand knit scarves that she created! And now she’s creating them with Darn Good Yarn’s Recycled Sari Ribbon!

Jony makes unique designs using various combination of yarns to give each one a mixture of colors and textures.

But, I need to draw your attention to her shop window. A friend of her’s down at the hardware store made these giant knitting needles! And you know what Jony knitted that with? Clothes line!!! I know isn’t that wonderful?!

The Barlow Guildhouse

I feel so lucky that Amy over at the Barlow Guildhouse found Darn Good Yarn.

They have been carrying our yarns for over a year now and they carry our great recycled silks and banana fiber yarns.

The Barlow Guildhouse is located on the grounds of Barlow Respiratory Hospital, next door to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles

The Guildhouse is a hospital gift shop with a difference. They carry beautiful items from all over the world.

Being staffed solely by volunteers allows them to keep their prices low. All proceeds directly benefit Barlow Respiratory Hospital patients.

You’re worth the best and so are the recipients of our donations, whatever their circumstances. We have a big box of donated fabric you can use while you’re here. Come and work on a community project (there are many needy people out there). You’ll never know how good you feel until you try.
