Stumbled on you when viewing some WCSH videos. Love your yarns, mission and website. Also, you two are an adorable couple. Congratulations.
I began my business in earnest when living in Vermont where I employed up to 6 home sewers. Meanwhile, I was extremely concerned about disposal of my polar-tec leftovers. I donated to foodshelves where volunteers would sew up patch-work mittens. Here in Maine I am not finding that folks are as aggressive in looking for donations and the like. If you by chance know if anyone who could use some quantities of fleece….send em my way!!! I have cut fleece into strips and have hooked some awesome rugs. Used small pieces to make ditty bags and do lots of patchwork.
Oh, and after all this, I knit too. When I get through my new pile of wool I will order some silk from you. Think I could do some nice scarves for gifts.
Cheers and all the best,
Hi Annie! I checked out your website..could those sweaters be more adorable?! I will pass this along to Nicole. The silk scarves are very special, and they would make a fabulous gift.
